Treasurer
The Treasurer Department is the Tax Collector of County real estate taxes for the following municipalities: Allison Twp., Beech Creek Twp., Beech Creek Boro., Castanea Twp., Colebrook Twp., Dunnstable Twp., Flemington Boro., Grugan Twp., East Keating Twp., West Keating Twp. (Also West Branch School Taxes for West Keating School District), Lamar Twp., Leidy Twp., Loganton Boro., Mill Hall Boro., Pine Creek Twp. 1 & 2, Porter Twp. & the City of Lock Haven.
The Treasurer who is also the Tax Claim Director, sends out all past due (delinquent) real estate taxes and prepares for the Tax Sale that is held each September.
Collected in the Treasurer Department are all delinquent real estate taxes. Each year the Clinton County Tax Claim Bureau holds a tax sale of all properties that are at least two years delinquent. If the property taxes are not paid by the sale date these properties become available at a public auction.
Clinton County Sale Information
**NEW BIDDER REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT
FOR UPSET AND JUDICIAL SALES**

Beginning August 29, 2021, Act 33 of 2021 imposes additional requirements for registration for prospective bidders at Upset and Judicial Sales.
These requirements will be in effect for the September 27, 2021, Upset Tax Sale, and for every upset and judicial sale thereafter.
Anyone desiring to bid MUST appear in person at least ten (10) days before the sale and complete a Bidder Registration Form at the Clinton County Tax Claim Bureau, 1st Floor Piper Building, 2 Piper Way, Lock Haven, PA 17745.
The applicant must also pay a bidder registration fee of $20.00 at the time of registration.
A new registration must be filed before EACH subsequent sale at which the applicant desires to bid.
For the 2024 Upset Sale, prospective bidders must appear in person and register no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024, or else will not be allowed to bid at the sale. Bidder must show proof (photo id) they are the signer on the registration form.
For the 2024 Judicial Sale, prospective bidders must appear in person and register no later that 5 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024, or else will not be allowed to bid at the sale. Bidder must show proof (photo id) they are the signer on the registration form.
