Welcome to the Clinton County Master Gardener Demonstration Garden Information Page

The Clinton County Master Gardener Demonstration Garden, located at the Clinton County Fairgrounds in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania, is filled with native shrubs and perennials that will thrive here in Clinton County. Plants were selected based on their value to pollinators and their bloom times, to ensure that the garden has something in bloom from spring through fall to provide pollen and nectar.

Below is a list of the native shrubs and perennials in the garden. Click on the name to view a photo and some basic plant information. This page is a project of the 2021-2022 Master Gardener Apprentice Class. The Penn State Master Gardener Program was established to assist Cooperative Extension to provide horticultural knowledge and skills to local communities and the gardening public. The Penn State Extension Master Gardener Program educates those with an interest and enthusiasm for horticulture and provides them basic training in a broad range of horticultural topics. In return, participants dedicate volunteer time teaching community residents horticultural best practices based on university research and recommendations.
