Located on the first floor of the Clinton County Courthouse, the records of the Civil & Criminal courts date back to the origin of Clinton County in 1839.
The office staff is responsible for the entry, documentation, fee collection, & maintenance of all files.

Clinton County is a sixth Class County. The Office of the Prothonotary for the Civil Division & the Office of the Clerk of Courts for the Criminal Division are combined into a dual office..
