 The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is located on the first floor of the Courthouse 230 E. Water St. Lock Haven, PA The office serves not only Clinton County’s 891 sq. miles but is often required to travel throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and even beyond those borders. We serve 1000’s of civil papers and transport upwards of 1000 detainees a year. Other Duties of the office:

  • To serve and enforce all orders of the Clinton County Court of Common Pleas
  • To provide security and protection for the Court of Common Pleas and court related functions
  • To transport prisoners to and from county, state, and federal correctional institutions for court appearances
  • To enforce the Pennsylvania Crimes Code and Motor Vehicle Code
  • To assist other law enforcement agencies whenever needed
  • To serve bench warrants, civil writs and extradite fugitives from justice
  • To serve and enforce Protection From Abuse orders
  • To enforce child custody orders
  • To conduct levies, sales of personal property and real estate
  • To issue Pennsylvania License to Carry Firearms and License to Sell Firearms

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Clinton County Sheriff's Office shall be to serve, support and help protect the citizens of Clinton County and the Judicial System through efficacy and professionalism. To provide security to the Courthouse, Garden and Piper facilities, to provide detainee movements with care and secure custody, to serve warrants and civil process in a diligent and timely manner while protecting and respecting the rights of all.

  • 30+ years as a Clinton County Firefighter
  • 10 years as an Emer. Medical Tech (EMT)
  • Lock Haven High School Graduate
  • Attended Lock Haven University
