• Envirothon

The Envirothon is a competition conducted by the Conservation district that tests high school students’ knowledge on 5 subjects: Aquatics, Forestry, Wildlife, Soils, and a Current Issue that changes from year to year. All of theses subjects are based off of native species and occurrences in Pennsylvania. Winner’s of the County competition have the chance to compete in the State Envirothon competition.

There is also a middle school Envirothon held by the county as well. Both the high and middle school groups can participate in a Study Day provided by the Conservation District to ready the teams for the tests and provide more materials.

• Poster Contest

The Clinton County Conservation District sponsors a poster contest for Clinton County students in K-12. This program is in partnership with The National Association of Conversation District Stewardship Week. Free educational materials are available.

Awards will be given for the 1^st 2^nd, and 3^rd place in the following divisions: K-1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12. The 1^st place winner in each category will be entered into the state poster program.
