From Staff Reports
LOCK HAVEN - A concrete and paving project along East Bald Eagle and Race streets is set to begin this week.
A release from city staff said work began Monday, with contractor Big Rock Paving, LLC to begin the process of constructing ADA compliant ramps to enhance accessibility in the community.
The work is expected to take place until Aug. 21, when paving work along both streets is expected to begin.
The portion of each roadway that will be paved are:
- East Bald Eagle between Hanna Street and Mary's Alley near the Jay Street Bridge.
- Race Street between East Main Street and East Bald Eagle Street.
"The city of Lock Haven is delighted to share that this project has been made possible through the generous funding awarded by the Community Development Block Grant program," a release said. "The initiative aims to improve the quality of our streets and enhance overall accessibility and convenience for all residents."
