POSITION TITLE: Full time Deputy Sheriff           

SUPERVISOR: Kerry Stover, Sheriff                                      

LOCATION:  Clinton County Court House 

SALARY:  $33,866.00 (Grade F)   $36,329.00 (Grade H) when fully trained 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Position requires a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or G.E.D from a recognized issuing agency.  Applicant must be a United States citizen.  Must be eligible and meet the requirements to attend the full 19 week Act 2 training or the 2 week Act 2 waiver program for Act 120 certified applicants.  Must be able to pass demanding physical tests and training requirements. Candidates may be subject to physical risk from violence, hazardous materials and extreme weather conditions. The successful candidate will be required to complete additional training provided by the employer.
